Last night North Madison Fire spent the evening training in the techniques of vehicle extrication and stabilization. With the support of a local towing company and donations from local residents the department obtained multiple automobiles to be used. vehicle extrication incidents are rarely ever the same. The availability of these cars allowed the department to practice and learn a variety of traditional and outside-the-box techniques. It was a great training experience for all of our members and allows us to better serve at a moment’s notice.
